AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas and the Badia region, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), winds will be southeasterly moderate with clouds at high altitudes.
At night, the JMD added, it will be cold across the country with northwesterly moderate winds and frost formation in the hilly areas, Badia region, the eastern plains and parts of the northern Jordan Valley.
A slight in temperatures is expected on Tuesday but they will remain around their annual average; therefore it will be relatively cold in most parts of the country with a chance of drizzles in the northern and eastern regions. Winds will be northwesterly moderate with clouds at various altitudes, the JMD said.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 15 degrees Celsius and a low of 2 degrees at night, in the central region they will also reach a high of 15, but slipping down to 1 degree at night.
Mercury levels expected for today in the southern parts will register a high of 15 degrees plunging to 1 degree below zero, while in Aqaba they will hit 20 degrees during daytime dropping down to 8 degrees at night, the JMD added.
