Palestinian President receives Ambassador Shawabkeh
AMMONNEWS - Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, on Sunday, received Jordan's Ambassador to Palestine, Khaled Shawabkeh, in the city of Ramallah.
President Abbas briefed ambassador Shawabkeh on the latest developments regarding the Palestinian situation, in the light of the Israeli government's unwillingness to resume peace talks, settlers rising attacks against our people, our land and our holy places, as well as Arab and international developments.
President Abbas conveyed a verbal message to His Majesty King Abdullah II, in which he stressed on the strength of brotherly relations between the two brotherly peoples, and the need for further joint coordination at all levels.
Ambassador Shawabkeh reaffirmed Jordan supportive stance towards Palestine and the Palestinian people under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
