AMMONNEWS - The heat wave will continue to affect the country until Monday pushing temperatures 7-9 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, hot conditions will prevail in most parts of the Kingdom with medium and high clouds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) , a slight chance for scattered showers is expected on Sunday, mainly in the southern and eastern regions while winds will be easterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk at times.
The JMD warned people against direct exposure to sunlight, especially in the afternoon in the Badia and the Jordan Valley.
Temperatures in Amman will range between a high of 41 degrees Celsius and a low of 29 degrees.
