Governor of Jerusalem to Ammon: 4 thousand worshipers at Al-Aqsa amid guarded 5 thousand Israeli soldier
AMMONNEWS -By Wael Aljaraisheh - Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Husseini estimated the number of worshipers who performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque five thousand worshipers, amid the presence of five thousand soldiers deployed by Israeli occupation forces in the courtyards of the mosque, which has seen strict measures and restrictions on the entry of worshipers to mosque since Friday morning.
Husseini said in a statement told Ammon that limited clashes on Friday afternoon prayers at the Aqsa Mosque.
He said the clashes with the Israeli army took place on one of the gates of the mosque, adding that the Israeli authorities have prevented young people entry to mosque to pray.
Husseini stressed the importance of the steadfastness of the citizens until the end of the occupation.
