King patronizes key Jordanian expatriates conference
AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, patronized the opening of a major Jordanian expatriates conference which seeks to discuss a wide range of issues of concern to Jordanian communities across the globe.
The three-day conference, held under the slogan 'Jordan Brings us Together'', got underway on Dead Sea shores with the participation of top state's officials as well as large number of Jordanian expatriates.
The gathering is set to discuss issues concerning expatriates and the role of the Kingdom's foreign missions abroad in assisting Jordanian expatriates in addition to several current political and economic issues.
His Majesty and the attendees watched video messages in which Jordanians living and working in different spots of the world spoke about their conditions and highlighted their achievements and success abroad.
In opening remarks, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said the government maintains as a priority keeping channels open with Jordanian expatriates wherever they are and emphasized that the event could serve as a platform to exchange ideas and look into success stories as well as expertise.
