AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian Government has strongly condemned the terror blast which targeted today Sitra, and led to the martyrdom of two on-duty policemen, and injury of five ones.
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and the Jordanian Government’s Official Spokesman Dr. Mohammed Al Momani reiterated his country’s full solidarity with the Bahraini government and people in confronting terrorism and 'blind violence' aiming to subvert Bahrain’s security and stability.
In a statement carried by the Jorodanian News Agency (Petra), the minister offered condolences of the Bahraini government and people, as well as the families of the bereaved, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
He urged concerted efforts to confront the scourge of terrorism, which, he said, represents a serious global threat, stressing Jordan’s firm stance in rejection of violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations.
