King: Unity of Jordanians a source of country's strength, national pride
AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II said Sunday that the unity and solidarity of Jordanians who stand as one family is a source of strength and national pride, and assured better times ahead as far as economy is concerned.
Addressing elders, community leaders and local officials during a tour of the Northern Badia, the King said the people of the northern region are a dear and indigenous part of the extended Jordanian family, adding, 'I am proud to be amongst you.' The King told the locals during the meeting, part of a series of encounters in his outreach to all people in their own communities, that he knew about the many challenges they face, particularly regarding the economy, but assured that 'the situation will be better in the future.'
