Ki-moon recalls Crown Prince's speech at UN Security Council
AMMONNEWS - The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, on Monday, supported HRH the Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II's speech that he delivered in April while chairing a UN Security Council session, entitled 'Maintenance of international peace and security: The role of youth in countering violent extremism and promoting peace.' During a conference on empowering youth through employment, held at UN headquarters in New York, Ki-moon said he attended the Security Council's session chaired by the Crown Prince about young people, noting that 'Prince Hussein is the youngest who presided over a Security Council session in history. He will turn 21 this month.' The UN Secretary-General pointed to the Crown Prince's statement, in which he said: 'We have to direct our energies not to answer the question 'What should we do?' because the actual question is: 'How should we do it?'' Ki-moon added, 'I count on each and everyone of you to help us get an answer to his question, and to respond to the aspirations of young people in the world.'
