AMMONNEWS - A Royal decree was issued on Sunday, appointing a new 19-member Board of Trustees of the National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR), headed by Dr. Mohammad Adnan al Bakhit.
Bakhit, a professor in humanities and former president of the Al Al-Bayt and Mu’tah universities, retained his job as president of the NCHR.
A leading advocate of human rights and public freedoms in the Arab world, Bakhit wrote many books and conducted studies and researches in history and humanities.
