Cabinet approves MoU between Jordan, and a US institute
AMMONNEWS - The Council of Ministers on Monday approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the Jordanian government and the United States' National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI).
The cabinet also decided to authorize the government's Coordinator on Human Rights, Basil Tarawneh, to sign the memorandum on behalf of the Jordanian government.
The NDI is an organization created by the United States government by way of the National Endowment for Democracy to channel grants for furthering democracy in developing nations.
