Jordanian truckers demand compensation for looted goods
AMMONNEWS -The Syndicate chairman of Jordanian Trucks Owners Thursday said Jordanian trucks are transferring the rest of the goods that gunmen were unable to loot from the Joint Jordanian - Syrian Free Zone.
The syndicate’s chairman Mohammed Khair Al Daoud said the trucks contained iron, coal and sulphur which were difficult for the looters to carry away.
Al Daoud demanded that the Syrian side compensate the goods’ owners who are Jordanians and Iraqis. Their losses were estimated at $100 million.
