Prince El Hassan participates in interreligious seminar
AMMONNEWS - HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal, the Chairman of the Board of trustees of The Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies on Tuesday, attended a seminar on the Lebanese documentary 'Against the Current'.
The seminar aimed at discussing the current situation of interreligious dialogue in Jordan and in the region. The purpose of this event – the second one in a series of annual seminars on 'Religions and Violence' – was to promote a forum of dialogue involving Jordanian institutions, universities and schools, also in view of Amman’s front line engagement for peace, tolerance and pluralism.
The seminar was held by the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in Amman, Reset-Dialogues on Civilizations and UNESCO.
