The royal participation in the conference is aimed at reiterating Jordan's support to Egypt to help it achieve its developmental goals and overcome all challenges facing the Arab nation.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi opened the conference with a speech in which he thanked King Abdullah and other Arab leaders for their support to Egypt in the recent past.
While in Sharm El Sheikh, King Abdullah met with President El-Sisi and discussed bilateral ties and ways to cement them in various domains.
The King also met with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and discussed the latest developments in the region and the international arena.
