The Friends of Jordan Festivals Gears Up to Host 3 International Events this Spring
AMMONNEWS - Coinciding with this year’s spring events, Friends of Jordan Festivals (FJF) launches its activities with a night of “Flamenco” at 6.00 pm on March 6th at the Cultural Palace. The evening event will warmly welcome three legendary flamenco dancers performing alongside several famed singers, and musicians.
“Music Hall” is scheduled for Friday, April 3rd at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton at the Dead Sea. The acclaimed Lebanese comprises of 22 talented musicians, who have skillfully mastered an array of music genres including Arabic folklore songs, opera and pop music as well as Greek, Spanish, Russian and Rai songs.
For their grand spring finale, FJF will host MAMMA MIA! THE SMASH HIT MUSICAL based on the songs of ABBA, to be held for three consecutive days (May 14th, 15th & 16th) at the Prince Hamzah Hall at the Al Hussein Youth City. The will welcome 68 musicians and dancers whose huge performances are deeply inspired by the Swedish band repertoire.
Friends of the Jordan Festivals is an organization founded in March 2010, by a group of enthusiastic men and women, leaders in the private sector, who are motivated by their love and loyalty to their country, and their passion for culture and arts. FJF wishes to promote Jordan as a cultural destination and the most famous open air museums in the world, thriving with history, rich in heritage and booming with culture. The dedicated efforts made by FJF in hosting such international events, run parallel to the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibilities, and continue to strengthen Jordan's reputation as an international tourist destination.
