Jordan confirms death of pilot, says killed January 3
AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Armed Forces mourned captive Jordanian pilot, Muath Kasasbeh as a martyr, along with the nation's martyrs who fell in the line of duty.
In a statement, delivered at Jordan Television, Official Spokesman of the Jordan Armed Forces, Colonel Mamdouh Al-Amiri, said since the moment Jordanian pilot Muath Kasasbeh was captured by the cowardly Daash terrorist group, the armed forces, supported by the various competent authorities, have exerted relentless efforts with relevant parties to secure his release from the forces of evil and darkness.
Despite all these efforts, Al-Amiri went on to say, this criminal group were determined to end the life of Muath Kasasbeh, in this tragic manner, in violation of all faiths and beliefs.
The statement announced that Kasasbeh was assassinated, a month ago, on the third of January, praying god almighty to rest his soul.
The Jordanian army said it would avenge the death Muath Kasasbeh, adding that the revenge will be as big as the calamity that has hit Jordan.
