Royal Court condemns cartoon insulting the Prophet Mohammad
AMMONNEWS - The Hashemite Royal Court issued on Thursday a statement in response to the French magazine Charlie Hebdo's publishing of cartoons yesterday insulting the Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him.
The statement said that the continuation of publishing the cartoon is an insult to the feelings of Muslims everywhere. 'it is also an irresponsible and condemnable act that is unaware of the freedom of expression, the key basis of which are responsibility and respect of religions'.
At these times there is a need for wisdom, dialogue, openness to others and constructive work through boosting the values of respect and tolerance instead of insisting of harming others, the statement added.
