EY Jordan Conducts ‘International Financial Reporting Standards’ Executive Training
AMMONNEWS - EY Jordan organized a one-day trainingworkshop at the Sheraton Hotelonrecently publishedInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).IFRS are a set of international financial report standards designed to serve as a unified global language for companies, subsequently ensuring that their accounts are comprehendible and comparable across international boundaries.
Delivered by EY Jordan’s Director of Assurance Services, Osama Shakhatreh, the workshop focused on five Standards: IFRS 9 - Financial Instruments, IFRS 10 - Consolidated Financial Statements, IFRS 11 - Joint Arrangements, IFRS 12 - Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities, and IFRS 15 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
The workshop was attended by over 200 chief financial officers, financial managers and financial department employees from several banks, public shareholding companies and insurance firms, in addition to regulatory commission employees.
