AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) sent two aid convoys to the Gaza Strip to ease the suffering of the Palestinians.
The first convoy comprised 29 truckloads of food and medical supplies to be distributed to Gazans by the Jordan field hospital. Some of the relief supplies are part of the initiative of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, in addition to nine truck loads donated by the Nuqul Group.
The other 20-truck convoy carried medical aid, medicines and blankets donated by Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, and Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein.
The aid will be distributed through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the JHCO received at the Marka Military Airport three UAE cargo planes as part of the UAE relief aid that began pouring in since the start of the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip.
The relief materials were donated by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashed Al Maktoum.
The JHCO also received another cargo plane from Bahrain carrying medicines to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians in the coastal enclave.
