AMMONNEWS - Jordan condemned, on Sunday, the massacre Israeli forces committed against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip's eastern neighborhood of Shejaiya and slammed Israel's indiscriminate bombing of civilian areas.
In a session chaired by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, the Cabinet was briefed by Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judeh, on contacts Jordan is making with the Palestinian brothers, Egypt, the U.S. administration, the UN secretary-general and world leaders to stop the Israeli offensive against Gaza. The Cabinet renewed the Kingdom's call to return to the negotiations table to bring about a political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
