Finally .. U.S. Urges Probe into Two Palestinian Teenagers Deaths
AMMONNEWS - R.B.Sinclair - In a rare move, the United States called for an investigation in the 'unlawful' killing of two Palestinian teenagers. The call for an independent and transparent investigation came after a video footage showed the teens posed no threat to Israeli forces. CCTV footage clearly shows the two teens were both unarmed, one was walking away from the area when he was killed. Nadeem Nawara, 17, and Mohammad Salameh, 16 , were shot through the chest on 'Nakba day.' Mohamed al-Azi,15, survived the sniper's shot.
The new evidence contradicts the Israeli account that no live rounds were used during the demonstration and that the youths posed a threat to the lives of security forces. They were 'executed ' in cold blood, a Palestinian official said.
The U.N. called for an independent investigation.
