AMMONNEWS - Undersecretary of Ministry of Commerce and Industry Abdulaziz Al-Khaldi inaugurated on Tuesday an exhibition of Jordanian products, the first of its kind in the International Fair Grounds, with participation of 56 Jordanian companies.
Al-Khaldi stressed, in a statement to reporters, the importance of such exhibitions to boosting commercial exchange among Arab countries. This exhibition, he added, would improve commercial exchange between Jordan and Kuwait, and allow local consumers to be acquainted with Jordanian products.
The official added that joint exhibitions also increase trade exchange between countries, allowing trade relations to reach new levels and bolster business-related partnerships that serve economic relations between the two countries. He said the Jordanian products were highly competitive in the region.
Al-Khaldi called on Kuwaiti consumers to visit the exhibition and take advantage of offers of the companies participating in the exhibition.
For his part, Jordanian Executive Director for Development Institute Yarub Al-Qudah said, in another statement, that the exhibition is an opportunity for Jordanian companies to enter into the Kuwaiti market, specially that the two countries were keen on cementing level of trade and economic relations.
Al-Qudah added the four-day exhibition offers a wide range of products in chemical, technology and food sector, in addition to companies operating in the fields of engineering, tourism, and education.
