Interior ministry introduces new foreign labour regulations
AMMAN (Petra) – Minister of Interior Hussein Majali on Sunday ordered the ministry’s staff not to process the documents of any foreign labourers, including domestic helpers of various nationalities, unless they received authorization from the Labour Ministry according to valid regulatory legislation.
The measure is in line with the Kingdom's policy to regulate the Jordanian labour market and enforce relevant instructions and mechanisms.
