AMMAN (Petra) – The Jordanian National Team left Amman on Saturday for Uzbekistan for its second leg match with the Uzbek team next Tuesday as part of the World Cup qualifiers.
The team departed Amman on board a private jet, as per the directive of HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, the President of the Jordan Football Association.
Jordan tied with Uzbekistan yesterday in Amman during the qualifying playoff.
Jordan needs to draw at least with a 2-2 scoreboard, or win the game, to continue with the intercontinental qualifying tie in order to reach World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
