AMMONNEWS - A man on Tuesday afternoon beat and killed his wife in a public street in the Abu Nseir district in northern Amman.
A police source said that a dispute erupted between the man and his 30-year old wife, causing him to beat her and ended up killing her.
Police arrived shortly after the incident and found the woman dead, with bruises and signs of beatings across her body.
Police launched an investigation into the incident.
In a separate incident, a 20-month old baby arrived at the University of Jordan Hospital after sustaining major injuries as a result of falling from his family home balcony on the fourth floor of a Sweileh residential building.
The child is reported to be in a critical condition.
