Palestinian singer, lyricist and composer from Nazareth, Rim Banna’s songs are inspired by the Palestinian people’s determination, heritage, history, and culture. She loved music and singing since her childhood and in 1991 she graduated from the GNESINS conservatory in Moscow. Since then, Rim has released 12 albums, with her latest release in January 2013, “Revelation of Ecstasy & Rebellion”, produced by renowned pianist Bugge Wesseltoft.
