AMMAN (Petra)--A total of 1169 Syrian refugees, mainly, children, women and elderly people crossed into the Kingdom yesterday, according to an official sources from the Jordan Armed Forces.
The source said that border guard units operating along the Jordanian-Syrian borders received the refugees and evacuated them to an area prepared by the armed forces for this purpose.
The source added that the armed forces provided aid to the displaced Syrians in preparation to transfer them to the Zaatari refugee camp.
