Professional Associations open their doors to citizens amidst blizzard
AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian Professional Associations have formed voluntary relief committees to aid citizens amidst severe weather conditions affecting the kingdom.
Head of the Jordanian Professional Associations Council Mahmoud Abu Ghanimeh said that all professional associations' buildings throughout the kingdom, including the headquarters in Amman, are open to citizens who have been stranded as a result of the weather conditions, or whose homes were flooded or damaged in the blizzard.
Needy citizens are urged to come to the professional associations and use its facilities until conditions get better, Abu Ghanimeh said.
Abu Ghanimeh stressed that the Professional Associations Complex is a national organization and all its staff and members are part of society that work to coordinate and cooperate with local and national apparatus to ensure the safety of citizens.
