39 MPs of previous parliament running for 17th parliament
AMMONNEWS - The official list of candidates running for parliamentary elections set to be held on January 23th 2013, revealed that 39 former members of the 16th parliament registered for candidacy for the 17th parliament.
Analytical readings of the candidates lists indicate that most former parliament deputies run in the same sub-districts, especially in Amman, where 9 former representatives from the 16th parliament are running in the same sub-districts.
Eight female members of the previous parliament registered for candidacy to run in the house of representatives.
