Authorities reveal cause of fatal truck collision on Aqaba Back Road
Security authorities revealed on Monday the cause of a collision between two trucks on Aqaba Back Road towards the port, which resulted in one death.
The External Patrols Department attributed the accident to failure to take the necessary road safety precautions.
Representatives of the Traffic Department and External Patrols Department confirmed during Monday morning's traffic report the widespread deployment of traffic personnel and their continuous efforts to maintain traffic flow and remove any obstructions that could affect morning traffic.
The traffic departments also confirmed the continuation of the national vehicle inspection campaign, aimed at ensuring vehicles and their main components are roadworthy during winter, reducing traffic accidents and enhancing road safety. They noted strong public participation in vehicle inspections and cooperation with the campaign.
