Qatar strongly condemned the renewed attacks launched by Iran against the territories of Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, describing them as a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the targeted states, as well as a flagrant breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the continuation of these attacks represents a dangerous escalation that could further complicate efforts to contain tensions and undermine political and diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in the region. It also held the Islamic Republic of Iran fully legally responsible for these attacks and any resulting consequences and repercussions.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the affected countries and its support for all legitimate measures they may take to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The ministry further stressed the need for an immediate and complete halt to all military actions and attacks that threaten regional security and stability, urging all parties to refrain from steps that could widen the scope of escalation, return seriously to dialogue and negotiations, and adhere to the understandings achieved through diplomatic efforts.
