Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan inspected on Sunday the rehabilitation works at the Northern Badia Hospital, which he had ordered during his first visit to the hospital.
Hassan directed that the works be expedited and completed before the end of this year, and called for the hospital to be equipped with the necessary specialized staff, modern devices and equipment to improve the healthcare services it provides to citizens.
Also, the Prime Minister inaugurated Granada Co-educational Secondary School in the Northwestern Badia District.
The school was established as part of the Social Responsibility Project and is among 86 new schools built by the government in less than a year, alongside extensive projects for classroom additions and kindergartens.
Granada Secondary School is one of 14 schools established in less than a year with support from the private sector under the Social Responsibility Project.
The school was designed according to the latest specifications, covering more than 2,900 square meters on a nine-dunum plot of land, at a cost exceeding JD 1.7 million. It has a capacity of up to 540 students and has helped eliminate the need for a rented school building.
The three-story school includes 18 classrooms, three laboratories, a teachers’ room, a sports field and activity yards. It serves students across all age groups, from kindergarten through the second year of secondary school.
