Tourism income reaches $4.418bln in first seven months of 2026
Preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) showed that tourism income increased by 24.9% in July, reaching $926.2 million, while the decline during the first seven months of 2026 was limited to 0.2%, with total tourism income reaching $4.418 billion.
The data showed that tourism income from expatriate Jordanians fell by 8.9% during the first seven months of 2026, while income from American tourists declined by 20.6%, European nationalities by 24.7%, and other nationalities by 39.7%.
In contrast, tourism income from Arab visitors rose by 12.8%, while income from Asian nationalities increased by 3.9%.
