AFC Champions League Two draw puts Al-Faisaly, Al-Hussein in tough groups
The draw for the group stage of the 2026-27 AFC Champions League Two, held on Tuesday, saw Jordanian clubs Al-Faisaly and Al-Hussein Irbid placed in Groups C and D, respectively.
Al-Faisaly were drawn into Group C alongside Saudi Arabia’s Al-Taawoun, Qatar’s Al-Rayyan and Oman’s Al-Nahda. Al-Hussein Irbid were placed in Group D alongside Iraq’s Al-Shorta, Oman’s Al-Seeb and India’s East Bengal.
Group A features UAE’s Al-Wahda, Uzbekistan’s Nasaf, Kuwait’s Kuwait SC and Bahrain’s Al-Khaldiya, while Group B includes UAE’s Al-Jazira, Iran’s Gol Gohar Sirjan, Bahrain’s Muharraq and Turkmenistan’s Arkadag.
The group-stage matches will kick off on September 15 and run through December 3, 2026. The knockout stage will begin on February 9, 2027, with the final scheduled for May 15, 2027.
