Jordan dispatches 11th humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) dispatched its 11th humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon on Thursday, in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and supporting partners and organizations.
The convoy consists of 18 trucks loaded with medical supplies and medicines, prepared and sent as part of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to support the Lebanese people and respond to the humanitarian needs of the most affected and vulnerable groups.
With the departure of the 11th convoy, the total number of trucks Jordan has sent to Lebanon as part of its humanitarian assistance efforts has reached 215, carrying food, medical, relief, and essential supplies aimed at supporting vital sectors and easing living hardships.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli said the continued dispatch of aid convoys reflects Jordan’s steadfast commitment to standing by its brothers and sisters during difficult times, noting that the organization continues to coordinate with various partners to ensure aid reaches beneficiaries according to actual needs on the ground.
The organization also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Syrian authorities in facilitating the passage of humanitarian convoys to Lebanon, reaffirming its commitment to providing humanitarian and relief assistance to those in need.
