Jordan real estate sales rise 12% in June to 11,884 properties
Real estate sales activity in Jordan increased by 12% in June compared with the same month in 2025, and by 13% compared with May, with the number of properties sold reaching 11,884, according to a report by the Department of Lands and Survey.
The monthly report data showed that apartment sales in June rose by 12% year-on-year and by 13% compared with the previous month. Land sales also increased by 12% compared with June 2025 and by 13% compared with May.
The total value of real estate trading in Jordan during June reached JD 584.336 million, marking a 7% increase compared with the same month last year and a 23% rise compared with the previous month.
Revenues increased by 39% year-on-year and by 28% compared with May, reaching JD 24.207 million.
During the first half of 2026, total real estate trading volume reached JD 3.042 billion, down 3% compared with the same period in 2025.
Meanwhile, revenues during the first half of the year increased by 5% year-on-year, reaching JD 128.864 million.
The figures showed that real estate sales activity in Jordan declined by 8% during the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year. Apartment sales fell by 5%, while land sales declined by 9%, with the total number of properties sold reaching 62,023.
The total number of properties purchased by companies in Jordan during the first half of the year reached 4,633 properties.
Regarding foreign ownership, the number of property ownership transactions by non-Jordanians declined by 6% during the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. Apartment ownership transactions increased by 5%, while land transactions decreased by 19%.
In June, the number of property ownership transactions by non-Jordanians increased by 27% compared with June 2025 and by 7% compared with the previous month. Apartment ownership transactions rose by 43% year-on-year and by 3% month-on-month, while land ownership transactions increased by 6% compared with June 2025 and by 14% compared with May.
The estimated value of non-Jordanian property ownership transactions during the first half of 2026 increased by 10% year-on-year, reaching JD 100 million.
The estimated value of non-Jordanian ownership transactions in June recorded a significant increase of 145% compared with June 2025 and 24% compared with May, reaching JD 24.311 million.
Ownership statistics showed that 64.95% of property owners were male, compared with 35.05% female owners.
