Jordan national team player Ali Alwan said that the Nashama will approach their upcoming match against Argentina with high spirits, aiming to enjoy the occasion and deliver their best performance against a world-class opponent.
Speaking to Al Mamlaka TV, Alwan revealed that head coach Jamal Sellami emphasized during the pre-match press conference the importance of playing without pressure.
'Coach told us to enjoy this match because it is a big and historic game. We will face great players, give everything we have, and live up to everyone's expectations,' Alwan said.
Reflecting on Jordan’s World Cup campaign, Alwan noted that the team had higher ambitions but expressed satisfaction with the country's first-ever participation in the tournament.
'Our ambitions were greater and should always be higher, but for a first participation, we are satisfied with what we have achieved,' he said.
