PSD urges caution as strong winds and dust reduce visibility
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) urged the public to exercise caution and remain alert to the risk of reduced or near-zero horizontal visibility, especially in the eastern and southeastern parts of the Kingdom, due to dust stirred up by strong winds and accompanying gusts.
It also advised people with respiratory and eye conditions to keep windows closed and take necessary precautions, and called on residents to secure objects that could be blown away by the wind, such as boards and metal sheets.
The directorate urged the public to call the unified emergency number 911 if needed.
