Romania offers scholarships for Jordanian students for 2026
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the launch of the scholarship program for the 2026/2027 academic year, offered by Romania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, excluding human medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.
According to a ministry statement issued on Wednesday, the scholarship covers tuition fees, including preparatory-year fees, accommodation subject to university availability, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.
The ministry said the language of instruction for bachelor’s and master’s programs will be Romanian, as students are required to study the language during the preparatory year.
Doctoral candidates, however, may choose to study in Romanian or in another foreign language specified by the university to which they are admitted.
As for the scholarship details, the ministry said applications must be submitted via the following website: [https://studyinromania.gov.ro]
It added that the application deadline is March 31, 2026, while admission results will be announced on July 7 via the student’s email.
The ministry also urged students to review the list of Romanian universities recognized by the ministry through the following link: [https://rce.mohe.gov.jo/RecognizedUniversities]
It stressed that students must comply with the 2023 instructions governing the equivalency of non-Jordanian degrees and their amendments. Petra
