Jordan on Tuesday strongly condemned the targeting of the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates emphasized the necessity of respecting international law, the Geneva Conventions of 1949, and the Vienna Convention of 1961 on diplomatic relations, ensuring the protection of diplomatic missions and their staff.
The ministry also reaffirmed Jordan’s solidarity and full support for the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
