Jordan condemns Iranian ballistic missile attack on its territory and Gulf states
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Saturday strongly condemned Iran’s ballistic missile attack targeting Jordanian territory, as well as attacks against the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed that Jordan will continue to take all available and necessary measures to safeguard the safety of its citizens and protect the Kingdom’s security and sovereignty.
The ministry also reiterated Jordan’s full solidarity with the brotherly countries, stressing its support in confronting any attack that threatens their sovereignty, security, and stability.
The statement further emphasized that Jordan will continue working with regional and international partners to de-escalate tensions and promote security and stability across the region.
The ministry also underscored the importance of restraint and called for diplomatic solutions and dialogue as the primary means to overcome current crises and preserve regional stability.
