Army Chief receives Commander of U.S. Central Command
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday received Commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Admiral Brad Cooper at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF).
The meeting covered military cooperation and coordination between the two countries, and ways to advance their defense partnership.
The two sides also reviewed regional developments, current security challenges and joint efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
Huneiti underscored the deep strategic ties between the two militaries, and stressed the importance of expanding joint military engagement and expertise exchange to boost operational readiness and efficiency in addressing emerging challenges.
Such cooperation, he said, serves mutual interests and strengthens the regional security framework.
