A skull of an Indigenous person from Australia that went missing at the University of Cologne last year has reappeared, police said on Tuesday.
An employee discovered a bag containing the object in the basement of the university building on Monday morning.
The skull was due to be returned along with two others to representatives of Australian Indigenous communities in a ceremony in December, but university staff were left bewildered over their failure to locate it.
