Officers at the Anti Narcotics Department (AND) arrested a woman on charges of drugging her husband with the intent to harm him, in coordination with two other individuals who were also arrested.
According to a security source, authorities received information indicating that a man was in possession of narcotics at his home. A search of the residence uncovered a small quantity of drugs believed to be for personal use, and the man was arrested and questioned.
Investigations revealed that the man, against whom the information was contained, was a drug user, but the drugs seized in his house did not belong to him. Further investigation revealed that his wife had planted the drugs on him with the intention of harming him, in coordination with two other people, following disputes with her husband.
All three suspects were arrested and referred to the prosecutor of the State Security Court, who ordered their detention pending further investigation.
