ACI Participates in GITEX to Boost Industrial Digital Transformation
The Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) participated in the GITEX Global exhibition in Dubai to benefit from trends in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation, helping industrial companies adopt new smart technologies and practices that enhance automation and productivity.
The exhibition, which featured 6,800 technology firms and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, focused this year on developing AI infrastructure, accelerating global innovation, and promoting international dialogue on policies and regulations that support responsible growth in the expanding AI-driven economy.
According to an ACI statement issued Thursday, its delegation held several meetings with representatives of leading global companies specializing in digital industries, Fourth Industrial Revolution solutions, advanced software, and artificial intelligence applications. The meetings aimed to explore the latest digital products and solutions introduced to local and international markets.
The delegation also took part in a think tech workshop promoting investment in artificial intelligence across several countries, including Jordan, in addition to attending the closing ceremony of the Expand North Star competitions for startups and university projects.
A meeting was also held with the exhibition’s management to discuss the participation of Jordanian factories in future editions, special pricing packages for national delegations, opportunities to showcase Jordanian products in areas such as smart manufacturing and energy, and avenues for transferring advanced technologies to Jordan’s industrial sector.
