Wednesday, Local gold prices marked a new record high today, Wednesday, according to the daily bulletin issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold, the most popular among citizens, was recorded at JD 82.2 per gram for sale from jewelry shops, while the purchase price settled at JD 78.9.
The daily pricing also showed an increase in the price per gram for other carats. The selling prices for 24-karat, 18-karat, and 14-karat gold reached JD 94.2, JD 72.9, and JD 55 respectively, also for sale at local jewelry shops.
