Army foils drone infiltration attempt on western front
The Southern Military Zone, working with military security agencies thwarted on Tuesday evening a drone infiltration attempt on its western front and within its area of responsibility, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army announced.
The source added that Border Guard forces quickly applied rules of engagement, tracking and bringing the drone down inside Jordanian territory, and it have been handed over to relevant authorities for further processing.
The source affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army - continue to carry out their duties with full efficiency and vigilance, to prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling operations, in order to maintain the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
