Jordan dispatches 50-truck humanitarian convoy to Gaza
In continuation of the Kingdom's relief efforts to support our brothers in the Gaza Strip, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) dispatched a new convoy of 50 trucks loaded with essential food supplies towards the northern Gaza Strip.
This convoy, which is in direct coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, and in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP), is an extension of Jordan's ongoing support since the beginning of the crisis, amid the sharp deterioration in humanitarian conditions within the Gaza Strip, particularly in the northern regions, which are facing severe food shortages and ongoing disruptions to supply chains.
The aid is being sent as part of an emergency response plan, which is being closely monitored by relevant authorities to ensure that food aid reaches the most affected families through carefully considered distribution mechanisms in coordination with local partners in Gaza, JHCO confirmed.
JHCO affirms its commitment to continuing to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, reinforcing Jordan's steadfast role in supporting the steadfastness of our Palestinian brothers and alleviating their suffering amid the difficult circumstances they are experiencing.
