Jordanian pilgrims begin arriving in Mecca Tuesday
Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad al-Khalayleh, confirmed on Tuesday that all Jordanian pilgrims are well.
Al-Khalayleh, while at one of the Jordanian mission's hotels in Medina, said that the Jordanian pilgrims will begin their journey from Medina to Mecca on Tuesday, and that the procession will be completed on Thursday.
He explained that most of the mission's pilgrims have already arrived in Medina and are being monitored until they are accommodated there.
The number of Jordanian pilgrims for the current season is 8,000, in addition to 4,500 Palestinians of 1948, accompanied by a guidance and care mission, including guides, administrators, medical staff, and media personnel.
