FM: Jordan agrees Norway's firm positions on international peace, Palestinian issue
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi affirmed that Jordan shares the Kingdom of Norway's firm positions on international peace and the Palestinian issue.
During a press conference with his Norwegian counterpart, Espen Barth Eide, on Monday evening, Safadi stated that the two ministers held a broad dialogue on the efforts that must be made to stop the fighting and allow aid into the Gaza Strip.
Safadi explained that they discussed ways to ensure real outcomes for the conference on implementing the two-state solution, which guarantees the existence of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Jordan is monitoring the violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territories and at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Safadi added.
Israel's extremist National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir has an extremist ideology that is pushing the West Bank toward tension and conflict, Safadi said.
