Israel to take unilateral measures in response to any recognition of Palestinian state, minister says
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar warned on Sunday that Israel would take 'unilateral measures' in response to any recognition of a Palestinian state, following French President Emmanuel Macron's comments last month regarding the possibility of doing so.
'Any attempt at unilateral recognition... will only harm the future prospects of a bilateral process and will push us to take unilateral measures in response,' Saar said during a press conference with his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, in Jerusalem.
